Our Caregivers

Surrey’s goal is to provide the best possible service to our clients. To do that, we ensure we hire the best Caregivers and Companions. Our skilled Caregivers have a genuine desire to assist older adults. They are reliable, loyal and compassionate. Unique in the field of home care, our Caregiver turnover rate is very low. Most of our Caregivers have been with Surrey for more than five years, and some for as long as twenty.

Potential Caregivers are carefully selected, screened, interviewed and trained including:

• PA State Background Check
• Federal Background Check if they have lived outside of PA within two years
• Three professional references
• Proof of certification and education
• Ongoing training provided

Unlike many home care agencies, all our Caregivers are Surrey employees, not independent contractors, and they are fully insured and bonded. Our clients can expect to receive kindness and respect at all times from trustworthy caring individuals.
